Your display name is the name that appears in chats at the top of your friend's chat screen, notifications, and in your friends' contact lists.

To update your display name, follow these steps:

**iOS & Android**

1. Open the Kik app.
2. Tap the profile icon in the top right-hand corner.
3. Tap **Personal Info**.
4. Select **Name**.
5. Fill out the **First Name** and **Last Name** fields.
6. Hit **Save** to complete the process.
